Surroundings
The village is active and animated by a hospitable and industrious community, characterized by a certain “expertise” on organizing time released from work. There are several interesting events, related both to the religious calendar and to the proposals coming from cultural tourist operators.
Aggius is one of the most ancient and well preserved villages of the whole North Sardinia. Right inside the town you find the Ethnographic Museum (MEOC) and the Museum of Banditry, while its surroundings, characterized by a granitic and majestic landscape, full of paths and itineraries, are adorned by rural churches and old housing clusters called “stazzi”.
